e-manifest canada: amps penalties starting september 1, 2021

Canadian Customs have implemented the electronic manifesting of shipments entering Canada. Although already mandatory, Canadian Customs will, as per today, September 1, 2021 (arrival date Canadian territory) start issuing AMPS penalties where entries are not filed in time.

 

We need to submit all relevant information to our Canadian partners 3 days prior to loading to the vessel at the foreign port of loading. Therefore, we urge you to provide us with your shipment details in time, in order to enable us to comply with these regulations.
