As a transport and logistics company, sustainability is a topic that creates added value. This is why we are breaking new ground and have launched Projekt-N (N stands for the German word ‘Nachhaltigkeit’, meaning ‘sustainability’). As part of this project, we are developing our decarbonisation roadmap. Sustainability and climate protection are already important pillars of our corporate culture and are given particular emphasis in the strategic orientation of the company. Our commitment started several years ago, and since then we have been working on a wide range of internal CO₂reduction measures.

These and other climate protection services are covered by a standardised CO₂ management system. With support from our climate partner Swiss Climate, we are in the initial phase of establishing our CO₂ footprint, which will enable us to fully analyse the status quo and work towards the CO₂FOOTPRINT label from Swiss Climate as our first interim goal.

Based on this, we will define further areas that require attention by means of hotspot analyses and draw up a roadmap with action plans. The roadmap will allow us to lay the groundwork for defining a climate target and thus take the next step on the path to the second phase of Projekt-N: being awarded the Swiss Climate CO₂ OPTIMISED label. This will represent not only an independent assessment and reward for our climate protection efforts; it will also consolidate our commitment to a sustainable future.
